Our Mission
To build the definitive GPS for developers navigating the Machine-Readable Capability Protocol (MCP) ecosystem. We cut through the noise to bring you the most relevant tools and insights.

A Note from the Founder
Hello there, I'm Alex Shaw.
By trade, I'm an indie developer and a systems thinker. I believe that the best way to navigate complexity isn't to wait for a moment of inspiration, but to build a better compass. That's the core philosophy behind MCP Tools.
A while back, as I delved deeper into building for the emerging AI ecosystem, I hit a recurring wall. The tools and standards around MCP were incredibly promising, but the landscape was fragmented. Finding the right component or the most stable server felt like searching for a specific star in a galaxy—a process filled with scattered documentation and endless GitHub searches. I knew there had to be a better way.
That's why I built MCP Tools. This site is my personal, curated GPS for the ecosystem, powered by automated scripts and a genuine passion for organization. It's the tool I wished I had when I started, designed to be the single source of truth for developers like us.
My goal is simple: to create the most comprehensive and user-friendly discovery platform for this exciting new standard. This is my sailing log in the AI era, and I'm glad to have you aboard.
Let's build the future, one tool at a time.
